The service was super. The manager took time to look after us and made us feel very welcome. Food was superb too.
Just visited the Viceroy, Duffield as one of a party of 10 for an early New Years Eve meal. I have to say it was excellent we were well looked after. Couldn't fault the service and the food was top drawer. A highly delightful experience I would highly recommend to anyone who loves good Indian food.
It was my third visit there recently and as before just feel there are not enough staff on to attend to you properly we had to wait for three quarters of an hour even though we booked a table and while we were kept waiting no one asked if we wanted a drink we were put in a side room and we had to come out and ask a couple of times for somebody to take a drinks order which seemed to take forever I think it was because they were struggling for staff that nobody attended to us which just seems ridiculous to come this spoilt the experience to a Greater extent but the food was extremely good when it finally came we had to wait an age for the food to come also when we finally were taken to the table and ordered it
Lovely food. Nice staff. Could become a Christmas Eve tradition
