Lovely atmosphere, charming rooms with comfy beds and beautifully warm in the cold weather. Breakfast is superb and the staff very friendly and helpful (they wrote me directions to help me pick up a card and provided a full length mirror to help me decide on my shoes for a wedding!). Also free brownies provided downstairs! The only mild downsides I found were to do with the shared bathroom (probably for the single rooms only). The plumbing was slightly noisy and the shower underpowered. This means a slightly longer shower to wash your hair and only really an issue with the plumbing if your neighbour has bladder/prostate issues or you're a light sleeper.Would definitely recommend this place and visit again.
Nice clean cosy room. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for an overnight stay. Quiet and set back from main road. Would be happy to stay there again.
What a great place! Everyone at the Coach House makes you feel very welcome from the moment you step in. So helpful and accommodating for our group booking. The rooms are comfortable, beds comfy and the breakfasts really tasty. If you want to see how BnB's should be, this is the place!
Just spent the night here before my sons wedding, I stayed with the bride the brides mum and bridesmaids. They could not have been any more helpful. Tea and brownies on arrival. We were allowed to take over the front room for hair and makeup artist. Lovely clean room, great hot fresh breakfasts.
We had a lovely stay at the Coach House this weekend whilst at a wedding nearby. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and the whole place is clearly very well looked after, was impressed to come back to a tidied room, something I expect at a hotel but not at a B&B so a fab bonus. The decor was fantastic in all rooms, I particularly loved the two communal rooms downstairs. I highly recommend a stay there if you're passing through Derby!
